This is the X-Force 3-Inch Stainless Steel Catted J-Pipe. X-Force designed this J-pipe with a larger diameter and with smooth bends to allow the turbocharger to exhale those exhaust gases without any obstructed interruptions to greatly improve the turbo response and performance. A good downpipe is one of the more popular upgrades in the WRX as the factory downpipe is highly restrictive by design, and with a proper tune, there will be a good amount of power and performance to be gained.
