These sizes and offsets are about the max you can go on E46 M3 without needing a lot of fender rolling, camber, or other fitment tricks. These are WIDE wheels, capable of 275 and 295 tires (but our recommendation is to run smaller). It's an aggressive look and stance, especially with the concave face profile of these TA8S wheels.

Our approach with the TA8S was to add back mass and durability where it would be beneficial, specifically in the barrel. The added strength is key to durability for potholes but also for the harsh race kerbing that will chew up featherweight wheels. The TA8S uses the latest flow-form manufacturing process to produce a light weight, strong, BMW track wheel with plentiful caliper clearance for street, track, autocross, and racing use.
Spoke profile and shape were studied to give as much clearance as possible for big brake kits. The curved Y-spoke design stretches all the way to the outer lip, a key component to the TA8S' strength. They also allow generous caliper clearance behind the spokes. 18" sizes clear Brembo F40 and Monobloc, StopTech ST60, Alcon, and PFC 355mm and 380mm 4- and 6-piston brake kits.

*Front Spacers Note: this is a sweet spot for E46 M3 front wheel offset but some coilover kits with large lower perches or certain tire profiles may require a wheel spacer for clearance.
**Rear Spacers Note: spacers are not required. This offset will push the wheel 3mm further out than the original 9.5 ET27. Spacers may be desired for a flush look. Unlike an ET22 offset no fender rolling is typically required.
