Keep in mind

When filling the 2.5, 2.7, 3.4, 3.6, or 3.8 engines please start with approximately 7.5 liters of oil and top off.

Do not overfill. Overfilling will cause excess oil to be burned and may possibly damage the engine.

Most capacities for these vehicles fall between 7.8-8.8 liters of engine oil.

The oil chosen in this kit carries the A40 specification required by Porsche.

In this kit we include 9 Liters of Liqui Moly Leichtlauf 5W-40 engine oil. We also include an OEM oil filter, 1 crush washer for the drain plug, 1 new drain plug, and 2 cans (600ml) of Liqui Moly MoS2.

Note

We include 2 cans (600ml) of Liqui Moly MoS2 in this oil change kit. You should use about 1.5 cans or 450ml in your 7.8-8.8 liters of engine oil. We highly recommend pairing this product with your oil change kit due to its supreme protection properties. M96 engines are prone to bore score due to oil film breakdown in certain areas, specifically the thrust side walls of cylinders #5 and #6. MoS2 forms a "Moly" film in these areas, drastically reducing friction and wear, especially in moments of low, or no oil pressure, protecting your motor from metal on metal contact. For example, cold starts, or a low oil pressure moment due to on-track or high performance driving. Invest in the longevity of your M96 by ensuring no spot goes unlubricated with MoS2.
