An engine intake manifold is a component that distributes the air–fuel mixture to the engine’s cylinders. It’s mounted on the top or side of the engine and is typically made of aluminum, plastic, or composite materials.

• Engine misfires or rough idle – uneven air delivery to cylinders causes unstable combustion.
• Coolant or vacuum leaks – cracks or bad gaskets allow leaks that affect performance.
