The MMX Performance Aluminum BMW DCT Oil Pan is a fully engineered solution designed to address the inherent limitations of the factory plastic sump while significantly improving thermal management, durability, and oil control under demanding driving conditions. Developed and manufactured in the UK following extensive testing, this upgraded pan is precision machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum to deliver superior structural integrity and long-term reliability for high-performance BMW DCT applications.

Compared to the OEM plastic unit, the MMX DCT oil pan increases fluid capacity by up to 1.4 liters (1.48 quarts), providing additional thermal stability and improved lubrication under sustained load. The external architecture incorporates aggressively machined cooling fins, maximizing surface area to enhance heat dissipation and maintain optimal transmission operating temperatures during both fast road and track use.

Internally, the pan is engineered with integrated baffling to control fluid movement and eliminate oil starvation during high lateral and longitudinal forces. This ensures consistent oil pickup and stable hydraulic pressure, critical for DCT clutch operation and gearbox longevity. Unlike alternative aftermarket solutions that require sealant during installation, the MMX pan is supplied with an OEM-specification gasket, allowing for a clean, direct-fit installation while retaining compatibility with the factory BMW filter system and reusing the OEM magnet.

Further extending its capability, the MMX design integrates three additional -8AN ports, enabling the addition of external oil cooling circuits or temperature monitoring sensors. This makes the system highly adaptable for track builds and high-output applications requiring enhanced thermal control. Available in both clear and black anodized finishes, the pan offers corrosion resistance while maintaining a refined OEM+ appearance.
