Upgrade your braking performance without the massive price tag of a full Big Brake Kit. We’ve taken our proven cooling technology and packed it into a direct, bolt-on larger replacement for the factory B9 RS5 rotors. 

By utilizing a 2-piece design, these rotors shave 9 lbs of unsprung weight from your front end, significantly improving turn-in, suspension response, and acceleration.

 

 

Premium Finish

• Type 3 Hard Anodized Hats: All rotor hats now feature a black, Type 3 hard anodized finish—the highest grade available for aluminum. This ensures maximum resistance to wear and fading while effectively hiding brake dust.

• Zinc-Plated Rings: Our rotor rings now come standard with high-quality zinc plating to inhibit corrosion and keep your brakes looking clean, even through harsh winter conditions.

Stock vs. JHM

-Rotor Weight: Stock = 27lbs(each), JHM = 22.5lbs(each) - Almost 17% LIGHTER, 4.5 lbs less each

-Rotor Cooling Air-gap: Stock = 17.5mm(.689"), JHM = 18.5mm(.728") - LARGER for better cooling

-Rotor Cooling Center Fin Design: Stock = Airfoil, JHM = Airfoil

-Rotor OD: Stock = 375mm(14.76"), JHM = 382mm(15.04") - LARGER

-Rotor Thickness: Stock = 36mm(1.42"), JHM = 34mm(1.34")

-Bolt pattern: - SAME (fits like an OEM rotor would)

Engineering & Construction

• Race-Proven Outer Rings: We worked closely with a race brake manufacturer that supplies many NASCAR racers and a couple major brake kit companies. Due to their expertise we chose to have them build us the outer rings to our specs to fit the B9 RS5. The rings feature 12 attachment points for durability and strength.

• In-House Machined Hats: We CNC machine the Aluminum center hats in house based on their recommended materials and thicknesses for durability. 12 attachment points for durability and strength. We also engrave JHM in them in 3 locations equal from each other, it looks clean and doesn't jump out or look tacky.

• The BBK Alternative: This is a great alternative to a full Big Brake Kit since the stock B9 RS5 Calipers are already stout and suit the needs of most. By increasing the rotor diameter to 382mm, we are able to maximize the OEM calipers and provide significant braking leverage.

Please note: JH Motorsports does not recommend using EBC brake pads with our 2-piece lightweight rotors. Customer have reported and we have found EBC pads leave excessive pad deposits that can cause brake pulsation. Many EBC pads have a break in coating that reacts with the zinc plating used on our rotors
