Slide-Type Captive Hood Pins

These Slide-Type Captive Hood Pins are the only ones we use on our cars.  After seeing numerous aero-style kits break as well as other similar kits with aluminum pins, we've tossed them all out and now use these sets exclusively.

You won't worry about dropping or losing any parts with these heavy-duty hood pins! The spring-loaded clevis pins always stay attached to the stainless steel retainer plates, which get riveted or screwed to the hood surface. The 7/16 inch diameter steel hood pins measure 4 1/2 inches from the clevis pin opening to the bottom of the pin. The clevis pins are a full 1/4 inch diameter and steel in construction, making these assemblies among the strongest available.
