In the best of times, with bushings in good condition (even typical aftermarket performance parts), there is a significant amount of deflection in your rear trailing arm under load, resulting in significant rear toe change and ultimately reduced grip and cornering performance.  However, more typically, there is additional slop from worn parts and this toe change is even greater, resulting in a "floating" rear-end or, in advanced cases, loss of control.  Our Trailing Arm Bearing set eliminates this slop permanently, with a fully articulating bearing which fully controls arm movement and eliminates toe migration.

The monoball spherical bearing parts have always been the best choice for performance (professional teams at the highest level use only this type of part), but a standard race bearing induces noise and harshness not welcomed on a street car.  For the Street or Street/Track crowd, this BimmerWorld part utilizes an OEM spherical bearing that is both sealed and greased, which eliminates maintenance and noise concerns - your street car already uses this type of bearing in several suspension locations!  And for racers, this piece is every bit as capable in as the traditional race bearing part, but has a greatly increased service interval and keeps the grime and dust out for smooth, free suspension movement.  Proof that a properly designed part really can give you the best of both worlds!
