BimmerWorld Solid Aluminum Differential Mount Set - E36 318i/325i/328i/M3
E36 solid aluminum mounts for the differential - for M3, 328i, 325i, 323is, 318i.
Solid diff mounts are a great upgrade over the factory rubber, especially for dedicated track and race use.
+ Upgrade your existing urethane or rubber dual-mount rear bracket to solid
+ Solid bushings have near-zero flex or axle wind-upĀ
+ More power transferred to the wheelsĀ
+ More direct and positive feedback and road feelĀ
+ Eliminate the potential failure of stock bushings
This bushing set covers the front and rear mounts in the subframe. On race cars we prefer aluminum to minimize deflection as much as possible. Even most urethane products are still geared for street use. While urethane might be fine for street use they pale in comparison to solid when used on the track. Solid materials have almost zero wear and tear, eliminating another maintenance item from your prep list.
Because of the solid nature of these bushings we only recommend them for track use. We do offer several urethane options if you want a more street-friendly bushing option.
