Reduces VANOS sweep to increase buffer for piston to valve contact. These are not required for most cam installs, but they will error-proof the install (almost) and give a higher safety margin. Use the smallest shim you can for your application - the bigger the shim, the more VANOS is limited, and the less power you make.Ā
