This resonator is part of our Racing exhaust system. It fits between the BW section 1 Y-pipe and the BW Racing muffler.

BimmerWorld exhausts for the E46 M3 are sold in pieces to be modular. We want to be flexible to meet your tuning needs. This part of the mid pipe includes a high flow resonator to dampen volume levels. It only fits within our E46 M3 Racing Exhaust. Have questions? Some states or jurisdictions have strict sound regulations that prohibit any changes to the factory exhaust. Installation of this exhaust will not increase emissions nor cause a check-engine light or fault codes on a properly maintained vehicle. It was developed to work with all factory emissions controls and equipment.
