Our BimmerWorld Precision Front Upper Control Arm Bearing Kit was designed because of the huge amount of suspension load that the front upper control arm, or thrust arm, takes in an E82, E90, E91, E92, and E93 RWD car under braking. In street cars, the rubber bushings in both the M3, non-M RWD models, and Z4 cars are big and soft with an open design to allow the joint to rotate in multiple axes, which is required when turning the steering wheel through its range of motion.
