BimmerWorld Heater Core Delete Kit - F3X N55

Heater core and cooling hose delete kit for F22 M235i, F30 335i, F32 435i. It can also be used on the M235i/M240i Racing.

In our racecar builds we delete the heater core and the entire heater box under the dash. This saves a lot of weight and eliminates hot coolant hoses in the cockpit. We use our windshield defroster kit instead. But this leaves hoses in the engine bay that previously routed to the heater core and need to be plugged or changed.

The F3X platform is a bit more complex than previous models so this kit is quite extensive but worth it for the weight savings and simplicity. Our kit includes -

Plug cap for upper radiator hose
O-ring for radiator hose
Aluminum pipe to replace the Y-section of the crossover pipe
Assorted clamps and hardware

Top tips:
The band clamps on the factory hoses need to be snipped off but use caution so you don't nick or damage the rubber section you're keeping. The OEM rubber sections are not available separately! We can supply a new pipe with new hoses for additional cost.
Keep any spring clips from the connectors you no longer need.
Use care when removing plastic connectors, they can crack easily.

There are multiple cooling hose layouts for an N55, depending on which factory options are present. This kit should work with all, based on our research. There are two original hoses that this is compatible with - 17127604544 and 17127604545 (aka Refrigerant Pipe). The 545 part number is for manual transmission models. The 544 is for automatic transmission and is the cool water supply for the transmission heat exchanger next to the radiator.
